Round 2

A wrestling match is generally broken down into three rounds.

Recently I have had the opportunity to photograph two wrestling matches underneath a spotlight.

The dramatic lighting that these situations produce create dynamic images that tend to spoil me and my love of black backgrounds.

Hopefully I will be able to get my third round with this lighting situation and photograph another spotlit match before the end of the 2013-2014 season.

I decided to go multimedia with this post. As more or less of a test I decided to take some audio and video during the meet along with the normal photographs. I feel as though the photographs are much stronger than the video, but I wanted to include it because it gave a new dimension to the coverage. I hope to continue fusing both photographs and video together with audio in the future.
