Black and white imagery versus color imagery.
Neither is better than the other but instead each are able to offer something that the other cannot.
My last three blog posts have all been in black and white. Not sure what it is, maybe all the B&W 35mm 1970's World Series images I am archiving for The Orioles, but I just want to push everything to black and white.
The image above is an old frame I made in May. The repetition with the lights on the seats made for a very interesting backdrop even if they were completely empty.
I felt that the black and white variant of the image lent itself to the graphic nature of the frame and exaggerated the harsh lighting on the player.
I will be sure to put up something in color soon.
Until next time, take care!
