Unconvential Light

December 06, 2013

Normally one of the most annoying things in a gym are the backlit signs that go up and down the courts.

I was assigned to a wrestling match right down the road from my place and headed out excited to make some new images.

I only shot one of the matches from above but naturally these were the images I was attracted to the most.

Those annoying signs mentioned above were making a  very interesting pattern of light in the center of the mat. Stopping down the ISO I waited for the two athletes to cross through the light.

They only stayed in the pocket for a few seconds but I was able to make a frame as one of them looked up.

Until next time, take care!
