Being a busy freelance photographer is a good thing.
It means you are out shooting. Fortunately for me I have been busy the last week with assignments from Baltimore Sun Media Group. Everything from basketball to wrestling to a visit from Santa Claus later tonight I have been out and about making images.
Sometimes this means having to rush through an assignment to get on to the next one. This was just the case last night when I had one assignment in Owings Mills and another starting just an hour after the first one started in Laurel. Well Laurel and Owings Mills were about 40 minutes apart without traffic, and it was five o'clock on the beltway.
I was able to shoot wrestling, get the guys I needed and swing down to get the second half of an education assignment. Hectic, but by all means incredibly enjoyable. I love the feeling of going from assignment to assignment and being restricted by time to make interesting images. It keeps me on my toes and forces me to perform.
Hopefully I can stay busy.
Until next time, take care!
