A Season of Outtakes

As I am in the process of getting together my favorite images of 2013 I have found that there are many images that will never see the light of day: outtakes.

Not that anything is wrong with the images but they are just ones that I felt did not work as well as others. The majority of the outtakes came from my work with the Orioles. Photographing a full season of a team results in many, many images. In turn I have many, many outtakes.

It is nice to look back at the images, each one has a story, not in the sense of what is going in the image but what was going on for me as a photographer. It allows me to have physical recollection of some of my fondest memories. Not many people can say that they have every moment of their working lives recorded, I am lucky enough to say I will.

Above is a gallery of 20 images that I felt deserved to be shown but did not make the final cut for my best of 2013. Should have the best coming out by the end of the week.
