Compartmentalize and organize. Those have been the two words of my life for the last few days.
During the 2013 year I took upwards of 200,000 images between The Baltimore Orioles, The Towerlight newspaper and freelancing. Having my work spread over three different areas has caused me to rework my organizational tactics.
A photographer does not only compartmentalize their work flow but also the composition of their images. Creating different sections of compartments of an image allows for different ways of showcasing your subject.
For many years I would focus on getting in tight to the subject trying to create clean images that way. I definitely went a little looser in 2013. Realizing that tight images were not the only way to make clean shot of a subject.
As promised before I am in the final stage of the year in review of 2013. Should be out very soon.
Until next time, take care!
